Furuno 220WX Ultrasonic Weather Station
The 220WX Ultrasonic Weather Station is designed to detect rapid changes in weather conditions, providing essential readings without any moving parts. This ensures continuous operation even in the most challenging weather. The station measures apparent and true wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, and wind chill temperature. Additionally, it features a 3-axis solid-state compass and a 3-axis rate gyro for top-tier accuracy in compass and pitch/roll measurements.
With support for both CanBUS/NMEA2000® and NMEA 0183, the 220WX includes an NMEA 2000® port, enabling direct connections to NavNet TZtouch or NavNet 3D DRS Radar sensors. Power is drawn from an NMEA 2000® bus, which simplifies installation by allowing multiple sensors to connect without extensive cabling back to the main unit. NMEA 2000® data is also distributed throughout the NavNet TZtouch/NavNet 3D Ethernet network.
The UV-stabilized, compact housing of the 220WX is fully waterproof and resistant to both chemicals and sunlight, making it ideal for various environmental conditions.
