The Presto 23-quart pressure canner is the only full-sized consumer model compatible with induction ranges. Its generous capacity is perfect for safe canning of vegetables, meats, poultry, and seafood, following the guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This versatile canner also functions as a boiling water canner, allowing you to preserve fruits, jams, jellies, pickles, and salsa using half-pint, pint, and quart jars.

Constructed from heavy-gauge aluminum with an induction-compatible stainless steel base, this canner ensures rapid and uniform heating. It is compatible with gas, electric, and smooth-top induction ranges. The deluxe pressure gauge provides accurate processing pressures, critical for high-altitude canning.

The special air vent/cover lock enhances safety by allowing pressure to build only when the lid is securely closed while preventing it from being opened until pressure is adequately lowered. Additionally, it offers a visual indication of the pressure within the canner.

With its large capacity, it can also be used as a pressure cooker for a variety of dishes including meats, poultry, soups, and desserts.
