Sika Primer-209 D Black 250ml Adhesion Primer
This pigmented, solvent-based primer enhances adhesion for paints and plastics. Sika® Primer-209 D reacts with moisture to create a thin, effective layer that serves as a bonding interface between various substrates and adhesives. It's specifically designed for the treatment of surfaces prior to applying Sika’s one-component Polyurethanes, providing strong adhesion on select plastic substrates without the need for prior activation.
Areas of Application:
Sika® Primer-209 D is ideal for improving adhesion on multiple plastics and paints, including GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, as well as alkyds/melamine, powder coatings, and baking varnishes. Due to the diverse nature of plastics, preliminary tests on original substrates under actual production conditions are essential.
Consult the manufacturer's guidance and conduct tests on original substrates to ensure compatibility when using Sika® Primer-209 D on materials that may be sensitive to stress cracking.
