The TA924 3rd Generation VoIP Gateway provides seamless integration of voice and data over advanced VoIP network architectures. It supports up to 24 analog POTS interfaces and features DSX-1 connectivity for PBX systems.
Compatible with leading soft switches and call agents, this device employs dynamic bandwidth allocation for optimal bandwidth utilization. Additionally, it utilizes standardized G.729a voice compression, minimizing bandwidth usage per call.
More than just a gateway, the TA924 incorporates a full-featured IP router for data support and internet access, along with a stateful inspection firewall for enhanced network security. The device is optimized for Quality of Service (QoS) on delay-sensitive VoIP traffic and features a Command Line Interface (CLI) that mimics the industry standard. Network Address Translation (NAT) is also provided for IP address concealment.
