Bogen BG-VAR1 Voice-activated Relay With Dual Input Options
The Voice-Activated Relay (VAR1) is a versatile DPDT relay device designed to be triggered by audio signals detected at its microphone pre-amp or via 70V, 25V, or 600-ohm line level inputs. This unit serves a variety of applications including muting sound systems in response to microphone inputs, telephone paging, or activating security equipment.
It features a slide switch to easily select between pre-amp and line inputs, allowing for flexibility in usage. The VOX detection circuit includes both volume sensitivity and delay controls, ensuring reliable activation. The isolated audio output boasts a 600-ohm transformer. Please note that a DC power source is required but not included.
